Here is the Job Description Role: Informatica Developer Location: Columbia, MD Length- 3 months with Extension Job Description: Need a senior Informatica Developer (8-10 yrs+) with excellent communications skills to provide development and maintenance of several client applications designed to provide a wide range of CRM related functionality. Consultant will be responsible for the design and development and performance tuning of new system modules based on the client end-user business requirements and with focus on the application stability and performance. Work will also involve writing/debugging stored procedures, as well as identifying and introducing process efficiencies. Consultant will also write process specs, maintain application documentation, and adhere to strict change management and source control procedures. Work will also involve developing and maintaining process automation and QA strategies Position Requirements: 8+ years of IT experience. 6+ years ETL experience utilizing Informatica years RDBMS experience 6+ with Oracle and MS SQL Server years of hands on SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL 6+ development 3+ years of UNIX/ Linux scripting experience a plus Ability to write and understand scripting languages – ex: UNIX Shell scripts; Python SSIS experience is a plus = Knowledge and adherence to SDLC Proven experience implementing and managing VLDB Some background in data analysis, data processing and customer data management Ability to handle large data sets, knowledge of data integration, validation and processing methodologies Ability to work with business users, capture business requirements and translate them into component/ process/ solution specifications / design Experience using SQL Server and / or Oracle in a production environment Experience using job scheduler/process automation tools (Tidal or equivalent) Ability to maintain complex systems and manage ongoing process improvement and refinement Exposure to BI tools and applications such as Cognos, SAS, Business Objects, MicroStrategy 1+ years overall work experience in marketing solution architecture and 1+ delivery a plus Experience with CRM database access software such as Unica, Epiphany, Aprimo and Alterian preferred.
