*Position: SharePoint Developer* *Location: San Francisco, CA*
*Duration: 6+* *Description:* **Management of our existing SharePoint 2007 (90%) and 2010 (10%) Portals including daily maintenance and support, * *creation of new sites, management of site collection features, security, content types, search and other SharePoint out-of-the-box functionality. * Includes creation of news, blogs, content repositories, user permissions and day to day updates of existing sites. *Meet with users, document requirements and design, leads design discussions, estimate work effort and duration, configure application, unit test and draft change management communications. *Experience with full development lifecycle including authoring all key deliverables, scope management and project and work management activities. Ability to clearly understand priority vs urgency and develop a realistic schedule. Ability to understand design principals around "simpler is better" and influence these design best practices with partners and stakeholders. *Deep experience is support activities, governance security, maintenance, and decommission site best practices within the large organization constructs and governance model. *Detail oriented and ability to track full queue list, short term and long term goals and schedule and report on all work activities. *Provide training materials, governance and policy documentation and road-mapping/planning for SharePoint and other technology initiatives. *Support any testing, adoption, migration, transition, archiving and retirement/decommissioning efforts surrounding intranets and digital content. *Management of SharePoint usage reporting, statistics and analysis and auditing activities as needed. *Provide help desk support for SharePoint adoption, usage and maintenance *Project manage medium to large projects from requirements to implementation. *Mentor other team members. *Oversee other team members to assure activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. *Perform second level issue resolution. *Works independent with little or no direct supervision. *Basic Qualifications (all skills require advance/strong experience level) * *Self-motivated and ability to drive one's own work.
