Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Windows System Admin/Linux Admin w/Active Directory and SAN* *Client : BNSF Location : Fort Worth,Tx Contract: 6mo. contract Rate: up to $45/H C2C * *Windows System Admin * *DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * • Design, configure, deploy and optimize operating systems, hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. • Thorough understanding of building, designing and deploying operating systems, software and configuration tasks to end-user workstations and servers through the use of automation deployment tools. • Design, document, implement and optimize solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability. • Design, implement and manage Active Directory environments focusing on cross-domain functionality, GPO driven policies, and user/group management. • Implement and maintain a configuration management system to assure compliance and adherence to best practices, security policies and disaster recovery requirements for all systems. • Research, test and deploy application, operating system and hardware patches/updates. • Coordinate updates, outages, maintenance windows, and other potential service impacting activities that could disrupt the availability of safety critical systems. • Design, implement, allocate, and optimize SAN/NAS based storage across multiple vendor solutions to virtual and physical infrastructures. • Maintain and expand the existing backup strategy and infrastructure for operational efficiency, including data staging, recovery and hardware migration. • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and programs that increase system reliability/availability and strengthen disaster recovery policies and procedures. • Experience with working with and configuring services such as SMTP, DNS, IIS, FTP, CIFS and NFS. • Lead root cause analysis (**important) and provide 2nd/3rd level support for all system hardware, software, operating systems and safety critical applications. • Work with infrastructure teams, application teams, and service providers to ensure solid designs and solutions to maintain secure and highly available systems. • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic 7x24 environment while effectively prioritizing tasks. *Basic Qualifications:* • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology related discipline and/or at least 4-5 years of related experience in Information Technology for critical Enterprise infrastructures. • Strong leadership communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner. • 5 – 7 years of experience in developing and implementing large scale, complex, Highly Availability Infrastructure architecture supporting critical business applications. • 3 years of experience with VMware vSphere (ESX) and vCenter. • 3 years of experience with SAN and NAS Storage. • 3 years of experience with Monitoring Tools. • 3 Years of experience administering Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux. • Availability for 24X7 on call support *Thanks and Regards,* *Shilpi Bist || Technical Recruiter* <http://www.sageci.com/> email: [email protected] Phone: 732-851-1596/ 732-767-0010 Ext: 542 Gtalk: shilpi.recruiter1|| Yahoo: shilpi.recruiter <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shilpi-bist/82/944/7a7/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
