*General Skill set requirements: *
- Strong system design
- Software engineering
- Problem solving
- Analytical and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate
technical design strategies to non-technical resources.
*Specific Skill set requirements: *
- Experience and understanding on Agency Management Systems (as a user)
- Candidate would need a general understanding of PMS (structure and
content if possible) or at least a strong understanding on policy
management systems.
- ACORD XML as well as AL3 experience would be extremely valuable.
- Technical leadership experience with mainframe and open systems
projects; COBOL, Natural, Dot.Net.
*Project Assignment:*
- Identify, document requirements, build solution design, and assist (or
lead) in the construction of work related to feature and function
enhancements for the above projects.
*Specific scope:*
- Agent Reports Online: Provide an electronic reporting solution to
Agents through prioritization and migration of Agent reports from paper
delivery to FOR delivery. This project also is intended to increase
report security and protect the recipients’ data privacy.
- ATLAS
- Agency Connectivity - Provide policy inquiry and data bridging
functionality via Transformation Station and TransactNOW to agents using
Applied Systems (or compatible) as well as Vertafore products.
