We are looking for a Microsoft and VMware Implementation Specialist to
assist with various initiatives. Initiatives will include, but are not
limited to, new technology implementations, hardware maintenance and
upgrades, software tool maintenance and upgrades, and Windows and VMWare ESX
maintenance and version upgrades. All candidates are required to work three
weekends a month and evenings when necessary. Candidates will need to travel
between local sites on weekends and evenings when necessary. They will need
to adjust their work week schedule accordingly (i.e. OFF Monday and ON
Tuesday – Saturday). There might be potential to work more than 40 hours per
week. Also, no gas or mileage reimbursement for travel to Rochelle, IL or
Naperville, IL will be given.
Responsibilities:
P2V, P2P, V2V migrations
OS Maintenance, patching, firmware, upgrades, etc.
Implementing new products after design and engineering is complete
Software tool upgrades
Hardware upgrades
Technical environment:
Windows Server 2003 / 2008
About 2000 Servers
