CCIE WAN/MPLS Support Engineer Location: Georgetown, KY Duration: 1 year with ongoing renewal Rate: Open – please be as competitive as possible. No rates given. · CCIE Level CISCO Network Engineer performs monitoring / evaluation of all WAN MPLS services working actively with the vendor as liaison to ensure uninterrupted access to WAN network services for client and producing / posting monthly KPI reports. · Conducts assessment of monthly bandwidth utilization for each supported site and provides written recommendations including costs for bandwidth capacity (increase / decrease) by class of service including placing orders with the vendor as needed to meet business requirements. · Reports service interruptions to vendor and works with vendor to resolve issues and restore full function of MPLS services. · Attends weekly meeting with vendor to review service requests including current services and future projects. · Responsible for developing and maintaining WAN diagrams including depiction of primary and redundant components with details on end point equipment (IP Addresses, etc). · Control and allocation of Global and Regional IP address schema and NAT allocations / mgt for WAN/LAN address space. · Projects will include implementation of Video over IP for client's North American Sites. Job Requirements: · 5-7 Years working as CCIE in Fortune 500 size company with responsibility for 10K or more IP devices. · Must have full CCIE (written and practical) OR CCIE written PLUS CCNP and 7 years solid experience in enterprise environment (6509). · Hands on experience with DNS administration as it relates to WAN and or Internet services. Hands on experience implementing / managing Video over IP services (routers / devices). · Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN / WAN design and support, data networking, CISCO network hardware programming (Switch and Router), Network operational management, Visualization software tools. · In-depth experience with network classes of service / COS administration within the router space. High level in job family, operating under minimum supervision. · Experience with Internet Proxy server administration including policy based management a plus. Technical / operational level understanding of carrier circuits sizing / implementation (T1, T3, DS3, OC3, OC12, etc). · Practical experience with DMZ/ACL administration on CISCO, HP or Extreme hardware including support of security breach remediation a plus.
