We are seeking a long term PeopleSoft Techno-functional Consultant for 1-2 year consultant assignment- The person would be responsible for support and enhancement of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management system. Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to: Work closely with business users from Finance and Supply Chain Management, understanding the systems and the interdependencies with other corporate and external systems. Work on production support tickets and change requests. Work with IT Department members in order to facilitate an environment that optimizes the use of IT products, systems, services and procedures to meet the needs of the business. - Communicate with business users to analyze business processes and system issues and provide industry standard functional and technical solutions. - Quickly understand the business processes, issues, and data challenges and gather the necessary information to document the business / technical requirements. - Work on tickets and change requests as per the service level agreement setup by the IT department. - Analyze change requests and work closely with the development team to coordinate the system changes. Work closely with the QA team to ensure appropriate system testing. - May have responsibility for preparing and executing test scripts on an as needed basis. - Identify / leverage IT solutions to enable business objectives – analyze technical constraints and communicate alternatives to the business. System Configuration – as necessary analyzing and implementing configuration changes.
