Please send resumes to [email protected] Title: Project Manager III Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania MUST HAVE SERVER MIGRATION EXPERIENCE Minimum Requirements: Client is searching for an individual who will function as a Project Manager. This individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience within a financial services firm with over 10 years of IT project management experience. The primary responsibilities include: Manage the planning, organization, and implementation of project activities. Provide direction and control of work performed in the framework of project, including monitoring the critical path and implementation of appropriate corrective actions. Ensure adherence to current project management standard processes and compliance to quality assurance policies. Provide overall project communication to stakeholders and program management of stakeholder expectations. Manage day-to-day project activities, such as issue tracking and risk mitigation, facilitating project team meetings (with various groups) and preparing/delivering status reports. Proactively identify and solve project issues through negotiation and/ or escalation processes. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: The PM III will be managing the migration of servers from old Active Directory to the new Active Directory. Looking for an individual with previous server migration background. REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: This project has already begun- so the HM needs someone who can step in and begin managing the processes. The PM III will be managing a few of the lower level PM's- 10 total team members (but this person will not be managing all 10.) OTHER SOFT SKILLS/INTANGIBLES: The preferred candidate should possess the following: Ability to work independently within various technology areas of BNY Mellon; Solid history of managing development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting technologies; Proven ability to manage a team responsible for producing quality deliverables on time and on budget."
