Position: ITIL Configuration Mgmt Location: Secaucus, NJ (Interview has to be in person, no consultant will be hired over phone), Duration: 6 months *dont show me any candidate that cannot be in Secaucus* * * The objectives of Configuration Management: Provide accurate and reliable information about all components of the* IT infrastructure to support Incident, Problem*, Release and Change Management by ensuring the *Configuration Management Database (CMDB) contains*: - Up-to-date records of all Configuration Items1 (CI’s) (e.g., identification, type, location, status, etc.) - Relationships between CI’s. - Services provided and supported by each CI. - Service Related Documentation required for the Support and Operation of the CI’s. So based on the above this resource will be required to know and implement ITIL based Configuration Management Solutions. They have to be able to speak to having implemented the difficulties, how they overcame them, best practices and do it in a concise and organized manner.
