BI Solution Architect State of CA - 6 months - $80/hr DOE
BI Solution Architect Minimum Experience Requirements: - Experience architecting and developing large enterprise data warehouse solutions with the Microsoft BI stack - Expert-level understanding of the software development life cycle, object-oriented design and relational database modeling principles, multidimensional database design, ETL, and technical architecture - Experience developing Business Intelligence and Business Analytic solutions - Extensive experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SQL Server '05/'08 - Experience with data requirements gathering and analysis - Experience designing dimensional data models, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF data models - Experience with multi-dimensional (OLAP) databases - Experience and knowledge with data management and database administration concepts, principles, and processes - Project experience - two (2) to three (3) full-time equivalent (FTE) years' experience working at a senior level on Data Warehouse or BI projects using the Microsoft BI stack - Knowledge of advanced data modeling, data abstraction, and concepts Responsibilites The BI Solution Architect will provide expert-level guidance and hands-on support necessary to maintain, optimize, and expand the Lottery's Business Intelligence/Analytic platform's architecture.
