| Duties & Responsibilites : | Job Description:
Provides 24x7 production support for client server systems. Provide SQL Server Database Administration support to numerous systems on UNIX.
Linux and Windows platforms, VMWare.
Participate in production support and implementation of databases, design and tune critical high volume OLTP databases, and contribute to database infrastructure enhancements Database and Server Performance and Tuning.
Server Buildouts nice to have.
SQL Coding.
Communication Skills Highly desired. 6-10 Years
Strong of hands-on experience with MS SQL of various versions, including SQL 2005 and 2008.
Responsible for activities involved in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, debugging and maintenance of enterprise, high-volume, transactional systems.
Responsible for formulating and implementing the team's technical vision, providing hands-on insight into system architecture, data software development and architectural design.
Establish database management systems standards, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design, logical data model capacity planning, external data interface specs, data loading, data maintenance plan and security policies.
Strong database design and development experience for very large database applications
Experience with SSIS and SSRS Data Modeling experience (Logical/Physical)
Experience on high transactional systems with 24/7 up times SQL Replication experience a plus Able to design, code, debug and maintain database schemas & store procedures
