**Ideally the candidate would have experience working with BI products (business Intelligence) and/or dashboard development experience but this is NOT mandatory if the candidate has all of the technologies listed above**.

Job Description:

The client is currently seeking an experienced Software Developer to work at a client site, Raleigh, NC. In this role you will act as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to create and maintain dashboards and related tools.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a senior Business Intelligence (BI) developer for the client

  • Create and Maintain dashboards and related tools.

  • Take primary responsibility to finalize the customer requirements for enhancements and new features.

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field of study

  • 10 years of IT experience

5 years of experience with each of following:

  • _javascript_ programming

  • Java programming

  • Python or Perl programming

  • Web design experience in HTML and CSS

  • Implementing and using web services in SOAP or RESTFUL

  • Expertise in using XML

  • Database programming experience Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Scientific dashboards

  • Experience with MySQL

Professional Skills:

  • Experience requiring excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.

  • Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.

  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.
