Location:- San Diego, CA
Duration:- 12 months
Interview:- Telephonic followed by Face to Face.
Requirements:-
This position will require the individual to design and develop complex web interfaces for visualization. The successful applicant will have responsibilities for the _javascript_ framework and the application design language.
Responsibilities include:-
- Develop/maintain efficient _javascript_ visualization components
- Develop/maintain the application design language
- Coordinate with other team members to develop appropriate interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency
Basic qualifications:-
- Significant development experience and expert understanding of web technologies (object oriented _javascript_, HTML, CSS, AJAX)
- Development experience with web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Development experience with JS libraries, such as JQuery, SASS, JQuery UI, Google Charts, YUI
- Strong sense of web development and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
Preferred qualifications:-
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Some Graphics experience/talent is a plus (Photoshop, Fireworks)
- Some experience and/or strong understanding of the Java/JSP web development environment
- Working experience of technical analysis and design using OO concepts and design patterns
