Duties & Responsibilites : General Description:-
The client is seeking a qualified Technical Architect to enhance the Integrated Claims Management System (ICMS) support team. The Technical Architect will serve as technical subject matter expert and liaison with business team and senior leadership. They will be responsible for supporting a legacy IBM FileNet application and assisting with the development of the replacement IBM P8 FileNet Integrated Claims Management System (ICMS-2) which requires a high level of cross-functional integration. The client is looking for an Analytical, experienced ECM Solutions architect, with strong technical writing and presentation skills. The Technical Architect provides solutions and best practices for Content Management (ECM) systems and Information Lifecycle Governance across the enterprise. They should have development experience working with Web services, Fax, EDI, Scan and Email solutions. They will be responsible for providing guidance and solutions architecture blueprints for the application team that clearly articulate the appropriate technical solution.
 
Technical experience:-
-  7+ years’ experience implementing FileNet or a similar product dealing with imaging, content management, workflow and case management.
-  5+ years’ experience in the administration of WebSphere, FileNet, Oracle 9i and above
-  5+ years’ experience in a server based environment (servers, switches, routers, SAN, NAS) and communication protocols
-  5+ years’ experience with web based technology including administering Web Services
-  3+ years’ experience in Security, role based user authentication mechanisms such as LDAP and related protocols
-  5 +years’ experience in logical program and system design; project management methodology and change management methodology are desirable
-  3+ years’ experience years’ experience in Microsoft .Net technologies ( Preferable )
-  3+ years’ experience years’ experience in J2EE Technologies ( Preferable )
-  Experience in automatic scheduling, executing and monitoring of offline batch processing
-  3-5 years’ experience in Virtualization, SAN technologies ( Preferable )
-  General knowledge of various ECM products, Information Lifecycle Governance regulations, and practices
-  Particularly proficient at designing and documenting high level ECM solution designs
-  Practical experience with workflow management systems
-  Experience with web-based technologies, including XML, SOAP and Web Services
-  Experience in upgrading various versions of Websphere, FileNet and Oracle
-  Ability to read, comprehend, and write technical documents related to the above technologies
 
Education requirements:-
-  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science and Management Information Systems or a related field from an accredited college or university.
-  IBM FileNet certifications a strong plus.

Major Responsibilities:-
-  Review, develop, and design data models using standard diagramming techniques, in conjunction with application development teams; create logical data models and translate into physical database structures that integrate with existing or proposed database structures.
-  Monitor relational databases to optimize database performance, resource use, and physical implementations of databases; addresses a variety of database integration issues including migration between disparate databases, integration, maintenance/conversion, capacity planning issues, and new applications.
-  Maintain development, test, and production environments.
-  Monitor and maintain security in cooperation with data security administrators.
-  Work on complex tasks, projects, or support issues that involve a high level of risk, that impact performance of the ICMS application
-  Evaluate and recommend testing and evaluation of new procedures, software, and hardware.
-  Assesses emerging technologies. Evaluate new products or tools for the organization and/or agencies.   Assist in or review cost-benefit and risk analysis.
-  Design innovative solutions using new technologies.  Recommend short- term alternatives when appropriate.
-  Troubleshoot existing information systems or networks to identify errors or deficiencies.  Brainstorm possible solutions and evaluates alternatives against decision criteria.
-  May provide 24 hour on-call support.
-  Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
