Duties & Responsibilites :	Enterprise Data Warehouse Project is entering an important post-production development phase. Substantial modeling of the business is complete and the tools and technologies for building the multiple Subject Area data warehouse are actively being used by the CLIENT. The production data warehouse will be deployed on a highly optimized analytics server designed specifically to deliver superior performance for mission-critical business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing. The CLIENT has selected the Pentaho Business Intelligence Suite as the primary tool for developing the data warehouse and substantial SQL development effort is also required. Responsibilities include: • Gather and validate Subject Area informational requirements • Document requirements and solutions • Conduct data profiling using SQL and stored procedures • Develop ad hoc information using Transact-SQL and Sybase Stored Procedures • Develop source to target mappings • Design Extraction and Transformation strategies • Develop end user reports using band-style report designer • Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes • Unit, System and Stress test solutions Skills Required / Desired: At least 60 months experience in computer programming doing requirements gathering and documentation. At least 36 months experience communicating with customers, end users, and/or business process owners to elicit and document use cases. At least 60 months experience in computer programming doing SQL and stored procedure development. At least 24 months experience in Sybase ASE and Sybase Stored Procedure development. At least 60 months experience in computer programming doing data profiling and source to target mappings. At least 60 months experience in computer programming doing extraction and transformation of transactional data to drive end user report development. At least 24 months experience in SQL doing ad hoc report development using a band-style reporting tool.
