This position is responsible for managing short term or medium to low-risk projects. The Project Manager DW BI Healthcare obtains a clear understanding of the project scope and objectives and of team member roles and responsibilities and applies standard project management methodology, tools and practices to ensure successful outcomes of projects.
The Project Manager DW BI Healthcare is also responsible for supporting a PM-II in managing larger, high-risk projects.
• Manage multiple, smaller scale projects (e.g. less than $1m or divisionally funded) at one time; projects are of medium risk level and do not typically impact/involve other divisions (with the exception of IT)
• Manages project risk levels of medium and below and proactively develops and executes appropriate contingency/mitigation plans to contain the risk and prevent evolution into an open issue.
• Organize and manage project team tasks and assures proper application of EPMO standards, tools and methodologies in project work.
• Delivers full project scope, including realization of project’s success metrics, on time and in budget.
• Maintains current and complete project management data and documents in enterprise systems; analyzes and reports project performance metrics as requested
Required Skills
Healthcare experience required
Data warehousing experience
Business intelligence experience preferred
PMP certification is must |
