The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management.
An experienced Oracle DBA is required for a short-medium term engagement.
The initial engagement should last through the end of the fiscal year with the possibility of an extension beyond that.
The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management.
Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.
Database Administrators have a range of skills and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the Application Team.
Extensive Oracle Experience Required
Years of Relevant Experience:7 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Role Description:
Participates in Database Management System selection and maintains database performance.
Knowledge of various Database Management System products.
Provide status of work to Project Team Lead.
Engage in ongoing process improvement.
Required / Desired Skills:
Oracle Database Administration Required 7 Years
Oracle Business System analysis and design experience Required 7 Years
Experience with Oracle database design, installations and conversions Required 7 Years
Experience with various database Management System Products Required 5 Years
Experience in maintenence, enhancement , designing of data dictionaries, database models, and performance tuning Required 5 Years
Experience in technical documentation Required 5 Years
Experience in Oracle best practices Required 7 Years
