Specific tasks for the Programmer include:
-Design and code from requirements and functional specifications;
-Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Java application.
-Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application.
-Produce technical and user documentation as requested.
-Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
-Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs.
-Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
-Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Skill Desired Required/Desired
Programmer
-Analysis,design,coding,component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
-Maintenance(including production support),enhancement and development work.
-Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation,databases,design,programming,testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.
Senior Level –5-7 years
Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education
-5 years of demonstrated experience with coding web technologies in a JEE environment, including Servlets,JSP,Java/J2EE,HTTP,HTML,XML,SQL,JDBC/Hibernate and application servers.
-5 years of experience with Model-View-Controller pattern and common frameworks such as Spring..
-5 years and 6 months experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL.
-5 years experience with Ajax frameworks including DWR,JQuery and DOJO.
-4 years demonstrated hands-on experience with web service development in JEE environment, including XML/XSD,SOAP,WSDL,UDDI,JAX-WS,WS-Security and MTOM.
-4 years experience in software design,development,and build tools, such as Ant,Maven,Subversion/CVS,Rational,SQL Developer, or Eclipse based IDEs. |
