Description:-
The ICD-10 Clinical Policy Specialist will assist the testing team in assuring all mapping changes are thoroughly tested. In addition, the individual will assist the team with writing test cases and identifying and documenting areas of optimization of the current system and areas of optimization with the implementation of ICD-10.
Qualifications:-
- LPN or higher
- Experience in Medical Policy Analysis and System Testing
- Minimum 7 years Medicaid experience
- Minimum 5 years Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
- Experience with ICD-10 code sets
- Experience in clinical application of ICD-10 codes
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Experience reviewing work products for completeness and adherence to customer requirements
- Experience delivering presentations and leading meetings
- Proficient leadership and oral and written communication
Preferred Skills:-
- ICD-10 application to policy experience
- Rule application to policy experience
- HCPCS and or coding experience
- User Acceptance Testing (Preparation/Development and Execution/System Validation) experience
- NCCI Coding Edits experience |
