Job Description: SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS PROJECT WILL INCLUDE:
• PERFORMING A COMPLETE HEALTH CHECK ON EDIRECTORY, GROUPWISE AND LINUX,
• UPDATING ALL SERVERS TO THE CURRENT PATCH LEVELS,
• ENSURING THAT ALL SERVICES ARE OPTIMALLY CONFIGURED,
• MIGRATING OES SERVERS FROM ESXI 3.5 TO VSPHERE 5.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Submit daily status report to include findings, work completed, recommendations, and scheduled outages.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• SKILLED IN Novell OES and GroupWise installation, configuration, and management.
• CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY WITH THE NETWORK ADMINISTRATION TEAM, PROJECT STAFF, AND THE USER COMMUNITY.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• EXPERT NOVELL CNE SKILLS
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS
• SELF STARTER
• MINIMAL MANAGEMENT REQUIRED
