*Position : EDI Tester * *Location : Albany, NY* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Job Description :* *Mandatory Requirements: ( Resume MUST have all the below skills) * • 7 years intensive and progressive experience in computer related field with 3 years within last 6 calendar years of intensive and progressive experience in performing software testing for complex to highly complex software applications and/or systems. • Must have thorough working experience in QA/Testing using various QA/Testing methodologies, complete SDLC understanding. • Vast knowledge of testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for testing, verification and validation techniques. • Proven experience with EDI Enrollment and Claims transactions and EDI data movement. • Hands-on knowledge of healthcare insurance or government domain with testing EDI (835, 837, 834,) transactions. • Proven reports testing experience on Oracle database. • Hands-on experience in very complex and large web-based application (portal) testing built on Java, WebSphere (presentation layer), DB2 LUW (back-end database), middleware (Web Services, API calls testing using SOAP UI), back-end batch jobs, and interfaces. • Hands on working experience writing SQL using joins for data validation from various data sources using DB2 LUW. • BA degree from accredited college or university in computer science, mathematics or engineering. • Working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word for documents, MS Excel for reporting) etc. • Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
