| Duties & Responsibilites : | local candidates strongly preferred
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and Oracle Spatial Data Functions, Procedures, and databases is required.
• Ability to use ArcGIS/ArcMap and the ESRI tool set to develop, import, export, and maintain spatial datasets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of Python a plus
Following duties will be performed by the GIS Analyst Developer
• Perform specialized technical work in support of complex GIS applications.
• Write programs to analyze and QA data and recommend fixes for customer issues.
• Assist in the development of geographic information systems that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial base-map information.
• Evaluate information and data from outside sources to determine the quality of the data.
• Write routines to export/import the data from databases.
• Act as a “consultant” to internal customers using spatially-enabled databases.
Required Skills:
-Proficient in Oracle SQL and Oracle Spatial Data Functions, Procedures, and Databases-Required-3 Years
-Ability to use ArcGIS/ArcMap and the ESRI tool set to develop, import, export, and maintain spatial datasets-Required-3 Years
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access-Required-2 Years
-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.-Required-2 Years
