| Duties & Responsibilites : | -You will be part of a Developement team that is responsible for Client's Learning Management System.
-Development will be focused on _javascript_ necessary to handle communications
-Developer must be highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented _javascript_ and familiar with one or more libraries and frameworks such as (Angular, jQuery, Backbone, Prototype, etc).
-Developer will be primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and unit testing of a _javascript_ based framework for handling communications between LMS courseware and our REST backend.
Skills Required:
Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
- _javascript_
- Jasmine/Karma/Grunt
- REST, AJAX
- Angular.js, jQuery, Backbone, etc
- Mercurial / Git
Required Skills:
- BS / MS in Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of working experience as software engineering
- Proven experience with complex _javascript_ development
- Proven experience with unit testing and _javascript_
- Experience with scalable enterprise applications
- Good skills in designing and developing code/tools
- Works well with others in fast-paced, iterative product definition and development environment within and across teams
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work to shared code standards
- Quick learner
- Able to work autonomously
- Good communication skills
- Experience with LMS or SCORM is a plus
