Key work packages include designing press tools & flat patterns for sheet metal components, Assembly tools, jigs & fixtures, composite moulds, Hydro/Stretch forming tools, GHE and digitizing existing tools and flat patterns for aerospace components. The lead in this position will interact closely with customers Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and Inspection department to collect requirements, concepts reviews and final approval. Lead also need to interact with his core team located globally on day to day basis. *QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS*: · Bachelor’s in Production or Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) with 7 years of experience or Master’s Degree in Tool or Production Engineering (M.E. or equivalent) with 5 years of experience is required · Familiarity with sheet metal/ composite/extrusion fabrication techniques for the Aerospace Industry · Experience and knowledge of different types of tooling including, but not limited to assembly, detail, composite and GHE in Aerospace Industry · Experience and knowledge of procedure and standards of design and detailing including manufacturing methods and capabilities for the Aerospace Industry · Familiarity with NC programming using CAM software will be a plus · Hands on experience on modeling software like CATIA-V5, CATIA-V6 or similar CAD software is a must · Good written and verbal communication skills are a must · Must have prior experience in global delivery model and coordination experience *Notes – Hydro forming tool, Offshore/Onsite coordination.* *Best Regards,* Srinivas Tel: (201) 524 9600 Ext 125 Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
