| Duties & Responsibilites : | Our client is a nationally recognized market leader in the individual life insurance industry. Their our goal to provide financial protection for American families from coast to coast.
-Research and analyze complex technical problems.
-Develop recommendations and implement business solutions that meet business requirements and overall company goals.
-Develop functional and system designs based on business requirements, and service requests inclusive of time estimates for construction and system testing.
-Present functional design proposals to IT management and business unit management for review and approval.
Qualifications:
· BS in Computer Science or related subjects or equivalent work experience
· 5-7 years experience in an environment similar to the one described above, using similar tools, languages and operating systems
· 2 years experience in project planning and project life cycle methodology
· Must have Life Insurance Experience
· Knowledge of operating systems, utilities and languages as required by the type of projects assigned.
Should have one or more of the following items depending on current department needs:
-Must have experience with Product Life Cycle Insurance claims.
-Most folks who’ve previously worked for healthcare or insurance companies should have that.
-Experience with either
-Web - Programming/Coding/Scripting in one of Java, ASP, .NET and HTML, CSS, _javascript_ or Delphi, C#, .NET
-COBOL
