SENIOR TEST ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION
-We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Senior Test Engineer to join our team and lead the way to a more stable platform.
-The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the validation test automation strategy for applications on the X1 Platform.
-This position will involve working closely with multiple teams of software engineers, testers, 3rd party developers within an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:
· Interfacing with 3rd party developers to gather verification requirements
· Execute strategy for validating apps against new guide/firmware/hardware configurations
· Authoring Cucumber scripts to perform App validation
· Report bugs/issues to appropriate groups
· Provide guidance for process improvements
Qualifications:
· Strong understanding of Software Test lifecycle
· 5+ years of QA experience
· 3+ years of automation experience
· Good technical skills balance with a strong quality ethic
· Ability to grasp technical problems and their implications quickly and take appropriate action
· Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical leadership
· Good analytical and observational skills
· An inquisitive mind and ability to think creatively
· Ability to design automated tests based product functionality
· Ability to quickly learn and understand complex processes
· Ability to write command line tools, scripts, or batch files to automate processes
· Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control and defect management
· Hands on experience with Cucumber or Selenium is a plus
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
