| Duties & Responsibilites : | Senior tester responsible for creating and executing test plans, test scripts and test cases; reporting and analyzing defects and test results; creating requirements traceability.
-LEAD experience, QuickTestPro, SOAP UI, Selenium
· Testing experience with Web Services (XML, SOAP, REST), Web Widgets, Web Applications, and MVC Framework.
· Working experience with Web Service testing tools (SoapUI or JMeter).
· Strong understanding of databases (Oracle or MS SQL Server) and familiar with related SQL tools.
· Able to partner with business and IT to create and execute test plans, test scripts and test cases.
· Development experience with automation of testing using an object-oriented programming language (Java or C#) or scripting.
· Create and execute manual and automated tests for functional, system, regression and integration tests and working experience with automated testing tools.
· Track defects and log them by severity and root cause in defect tracking tool.
· Define and track quality assurance test metrics and report on outcomes to management.
· Provide level of effort testing estimates to management.
· Work with business units to obtain sign-off on test results prior to movement to production.
· Support testing of client and product launches, eCommerce and web applications, etc.
· Attend project meetings and review requirements.
· Participate in defect review meetings and prioritize defect remediation work.
· Proactively identifies and makes recommendations to QA Team for process improvements.
· Act as a resource to less experienced Associates.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
