Sheffali: Oracle WebLogic Engineer

Project Information:
This additional DBA position is needed to support the project work within the core Oracle database team.
The job is supporting our Oracle Weblogic hosting environment.
At least 5 years experiences with Oracle fusion middleware in Java, PL/SQL, APEX, Forms & reports containers running in an active-active configuration.
Experience with Oracle Http Server, Oracle Webcache and load balancer.
Duties require installation, performance tuning, deployments, security hardening, encryption in flight, FIPS, wallets, keystores and all aspects of troubleshooting.

DBA responsibilities:
•Responsible for data analysis & database management
•Maintenance, enhancement, designing of physical & logical database models
•Performance & tuning of both the database and SQL
•Skilled in DBMS utilities
•Database patching
•Migrations of database from Windows to Linux
•System monitoring & alerting techniques
•LDAP
•Database backup and recovery strategies  

Ideal Experience:
Fluent English communication - 5 yrs
Database design, installation, database upgrade, data conversion - 10 yrs
Database backup & recovery procedures, access security, database integrity, data storage design & mgmt. - 10 yrs
Database and code performance tuning - 10 yrs

Operating system: Linux, Solaris, Windows, WLS - WebLogic
Programming Language/Development Tools: Unix shell scripting
Database Systems/Database Tools: Oracle 11gR2
Frameworks/SLD's/Methodologies: RAC, ASM, RMAN, OEM Grid Control
