I appreciate & will be thankful for your support with few references from your network who are looking for a job *Senior Business Analyst (SAP/BI)* *Location : Irvine, CA* *6-12+ Months* *Local candidates are preferred.* Senior Business Analyst (SAP/BI) A well-established privately held client is actively searching for (2) Senior Business Analyst with previous Data Warehouse BI experience designing executive reporting within SAP Business Objects to work on a 3 month contract assignment in the Irvine metro area. The consultants will be focused is on crushing through the analysis and functional design stages of BI life cycle. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of recent SAP Business Objects reports design experience and needs to know the functionality of the most recent version. Previous experience with SAP BW is highly preferred. The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter who can work well in a collaborative team environment as well as be self-directed and work independently without direct supervision who is also team oriented and solution minded and able to communicate well with various team members, management and staff at all levels within the organization. The candidate needs to have top notch verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and work well in a fast paced environment. *Position Responsibilities:* · Work with internal customers and management to define and analyze business requirements for various types of complex reporting requirements and translate these requirements into functional specifications and determine which reporting tool within BO suite is best to utilize such as Dashboard, Bi Explorer and Webi. · Perform and document corresponding application analysis, design and programming specifications as directed or required. · Ensure the integrity of changes to the company’s production business systems. Develop comprehensive test plans, and coordinate/execute quality control testing to ensure accuracy, functionality and adherence to business specifications. · Research questions and issues relating to the current production systems. Work with internal staff to troubleshoot system and data issues · Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials, and identify/manage training needs for end-users. *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* · Excellent requirements gathering, listening, facilitation and negotiation skills. This position will interact with developers, business users and management. · Excellent oral and written communication skills.
