| Duties & Responsibilites : | · Install and configure the Weblogic App Server on Linux Platforms.
· Deploy applications to the Weblogic Application clusters.
· Create Weblogic Application Clusters.
· Configure the Weblogic Node Manager.
· Install and configure the Apache Web Server.
· Deliver well-defined design documentation that guide and inform project software development teams.
· Define performance and scalability requirements and validate based on performance and scalability testing.
· Leverage proven experience to deliver innovative, highly scalable and reliable solutions.
· Drive technical design reviews to ensure predictable product delivery with high quality.
· Work closely with business, product management and customers to establish and validate design requirements.
· Work collaboratively with across multiple development teams.
· Define and develop a migration strategy for existing customers that need to migrate to the next generation application software platform.
Required Qualifications, Skillsets and Abilities:
· 8-10 years of Weblogic administration.
· 8-10 years Operations management experience with outage and incident management experience.
· Extensive experience working with Linux Servers.
· Experience installing and configuring Weblogic Application Servers in a clustered environment.
· Experience configuring the Weblogic Node Manager.
· Experience deploying applications to the Weblogic Application Servers.
· Implement Weblogic according to industry standards. Validate the performance and scalability by testing.
· Define standards / reference architectures for use by project teams in developing technical designs.
· Experience performing logical database administration in support of Java (J2EE) / Weblogic based enterprise applications.
· Preferred 4 Years: Database programming and/or script writing experience.
· Preferred 2 Years: Experience supporting application databases through Weblogic 11 to Weblogic 12 upgrade.
· Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies.
· Skill in communicating both verbally and in writing with customers and peers.
· Ability to conduct short and long range project planning.
