-Client is looking for an experienced Network Architect to take on a challenging 4 month project in a leadership role.
-Experience with Windows is a must and experience working on big data platforms is another huge plus.
Looking for candidates who have:
-hands on experience as a Network Architect.
-dealt with large scale Network Implementations in multi node distributed computing.
-Networking experience on Big Data platforms [like Hadoop infra] is a big plus.
-Cloud exposure, especially AWS infra is a plus.
-Strong Communication, multi-vendor interaction, leadership skills
Job Description:
-Coordinate with various stakeholders from the Architecture team, Design team and Client Infrastructure team
-Understand the solution architecture and design of the application by coordinating with the designers and architects
-Needs to understand the Client standards so as to have better alignment of the IA with the Client standards
-Come with the Infrastructure architecture of the application. The IA includes
-the architecture for all the data centers across locations. (Approx. 27 data centers)
-IA diagram of the application
-Capacity planning
-Prepare Build sheets
-Coordinate and walkthrough of the IA with the various groups in Client (Infrastructure teams, Operations etc.)
-Coordinate and answer any questions that various data centers across locations would have
-Quick turnaround time since the application is going live soon
-Stockholder and expectations management across various teams at Client place
-Familiarity with Visio. The current IA diagrams are in Visio
Infra components within Architecture environment:
-IIS server
-.Net web platform deployments on Windows servers
-App Fabric layer for Caching
-Windows Service Bus (Farm) for Messaging
-Windows Services hosted on various servers
-SQL Server Databases
-Job Server
-Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA with several years [10-15] of work experience preferred
-Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
-Strong presentation skills required.
