-Support the development of a SharePoint enterprise design including the infrastructure design, software configuration, migration path and ongoing technical support requirements, specifically in the area of SharePoint Search.
-This includes documentation of all configurations for future support purposes.
-Provide Web Design development as it relates to the SharePoint/MOSS infrastructure.
-This includes the setup and support for the SharePoint designed templates as deployed throughout the enterprise.
-Troubleshooting of SharePoint\MOSS problems and responding to user community questions will also be required.
-Evaluate the enhanced features provided by the current version of SharePoint used by the Agency and its future iterations.
-Evaluate and recommend solutions and designs to provide backup and recovery of SharePoint data.
-Evaluate and recommend solutions and designs for disaster recovery including local fault tolerance and stand-by facilities located in remote facilities.
-Provide third-level technical support for SharePoint Services as they relate to SSA infrastructure.
-Evaluate and initiate SharePoint solutions to the existing SSA infrastructure.
-Configure, implement and support hardware relating to virtualization, including networking and SAN devices.
-Develop a supportable design for an enterprise deployment of SharePoint.
Desired Skills:
-SharePoint 2013 Administration Experience
-Experience with SharePoint Search in 2013
-Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, IIS or Kerberos
-Knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, including ASP.NET,
-Microsoft SharePoint Certifications
-Design and development of custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Features or SharePoint Apps, designing user interfaces, writing test plans, and testing applications
-Experience Team Foundation Server
-Experience creating web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, _javascript_, and JQuery
-Experience with building Business Intelligence/Dashboards
-Experienced with current technologies including object oriented design and development.
-Knowledge of C/C#, Visual Studio, and PowerShell
-Experience with out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality including list/library creation and customization, permissions management, and content management
-Experience with developing, deploying, and supporting .NET applications with Microsoft SQL Server
-Experience with customization using SharePoint Designer and building workflow applications using SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio/C#
-Experience with development and enforcement of system polices with regard to file content, server storage, and user capabilities
-Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
-Excellent analytical and customer service skills.
-Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements
