Working closely with stakeholders and appropriate technology teams, the Business Systems Analyst will have responsibility for eliciting, defining, documenting business requirements and creating functional requirements for enterprise wide information technology initiatives using a variety of methods/tools. Ensures effective and efficient use of existing technology applications and delivers solutions on time and with high quality, ensuring requirement traceability throughout each stage of the project or initiative. Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business and end user needs to ensure alignment of those needs to the organizational strategies and that developed solutions meet the business need. The principle role of the Business Systems Analyst is to identify and document customer requirements for proposed changes for improvement of business processes and then design/develop technical program and system specifications by analyzing the business requirements, constructing process flow diagrams and applying system capabilities to achieve the desired process improvements. The Business Systems Analyst is expected to evaluate business and program application systems'''' functionality to identify gaps, measuring the solution impact to business operations; serving as a liaison between the business and the technical team to improve productivity.
