*Job Title : NetApp Storage AdministratorLocation : Orange, CA Duration : 3+Months Contract (Possible Extension)NetApp Storage Administrator* We are looking for a talented, senior level, Storage Admin to provide support for all upper level technical support escalations as well as to provide technical leadership to the company to enhance assets and assist with the planning of the infrastructure to ensure requirements are met to support company growth. The Storage Administrator responsible for maintaining enterprise level storage infrastructure, NetApp devices, EMC devices, fibre channel switches, tape libraries and backup servers. *Responsibilities:* Deploy, manage and support storage solutions (NetApp, EMC and Brocade). Design, troubleshoot, monitor and support enterprise storage environment. Develop and maintain scripts to automate management of storage systems Interface and manage storage-related projects with 3rd party infrastructure service provider's Tier 1 Storage Engineers and Systems Administrators. Liaison with DBA teams (in-house and external service providers) to maintain optimal storage performance and configuration. Part of an on-call 24x7 support rotation, possibly. 5+ years of experience in enterprise level storage administration.3+ years of experience with storage technologies- clustering/HA, snapshots, SnapMirror, etc. 5+ years of experience with Windows OS and Active Directory, DFS, and GPO's in an enterprise environment. Storage management skills- NAS, fibre channel, LUN grouping and performance zoning/tuning, etc. Filer/NAS backups using DataDomain. Experience in managing and troubleshooting shared storage libraries. Working knowledge of DNS, NIS, and NFS. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and storage-related projects. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
