Job Description:
DATA ARCHITECT:
Define and evolve the recommended data architecture for the data service.
Provide a framework to determine how to grow new data assets and evaluate
existing data assets.
Also provide data architecture services and perform data architecture
reviews, ensuring the compliance of design and meta data standards.
Staff augementation 40 hours/week Full time Assess the requirements for
acceptable levels of data quality through one of three methods (performing
a statistical data quality assessment using data profiling tools, reviewing
existing rules based on documentation and existing application, or
soliciting requirements from the business users).
The collected data quality requirements must be translated into data
quality rules and are stored and managed within a data quality rules
repository.
The format of these rules is one that is suitable for integration with
automated applications Validate data instances at the data element, data
record, or data set levels of granularity.
Invoke ETL processes as the different data sources are streamed through to
the DL.
Ability to decipher valid and invalid records to be forwarded to the DL and
create process for invalid records to be optionally tagged with the rules
they violated. Specify ETL Data Validation, D Q Rules
