*Job Title: Program Manager * *Location: Mountain View – CA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* We looking for a high energy, well organized and experienced program manager to lead a team of *community managers*, and scale power user programs globally. Our team comprises ten onsite community managers with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, which sit at the heart of Client’s flagship social media products. We are a scrappy, upbeat, tight-knit team that have bootstrapped our way to success, and we are looking for an experienced lead to take us to the next level and beyond. *Responsibilities:* · Recruit and train effective community managers · Create, present and execute strategies for acquiring, activating and retaining talented power users in the programs · Define meaningful metrics; set, track and deliver on team goals; give regular team status updates; manage or escalate blocks · Work with Marketing to create campaigns for user outreach and acquisition globally · Help develop tools and processes as the program and team grows, and identify internal collaborations · Hands-on work with users, especially on escalation paths · Evolve the programs so that it can scale gracefully to 100k+ members · Own the editorial process for ongoing program collateral · Source, sponsor and manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity · Work to a budget, tracking ROI and variance *Required Experience & Skills:* · Degree in relevant discipline such as Marketing or Communications · 5+ years in community management, including 2+ years in a leadership role including · people management · Impeccable understanding of the community space, social media/digital marketing tools, trends and strategies · Proven success in growing and maintaining power-user communities of 10,000+ members · Excellent writing skills for both user facing collateral and internal communication · Native fluency in written and spoken English · Experience with CRM, marketing, policy, and running both online and offline campaigns As a *Program Manager Client *expect you to · Deliver projects using a combination of existing process and individual initiative · Raise issues and problems proactively · Recognize the difference between high vs low legal and brand risk and act accordingly, busting bureaucracy where appropriate. · Be able to give and receive critical feedback · Work to deadlines, bring order to entropy, and keep the team focused and productive · Create plans for and manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity and scope · Effectively use project management tools (ie spreadsheets, scheduling tools, dashboards). · Manage and communicate resolutions of project related technical and user issues · Develop technical know-how: Engage with engineers and understand technical language · Leverage Technology: develop or improve tools or processes (software tools, techniques, automation) and create repeatability Thanks & Regards, *Sampath | Sr. Recruiter* *IDEXCEL Inc*., 459 Herndon Parkway, Suite 11, Herndon, VA-20170. *Direct: 703-230-2635 | Fax: 703.880.7584* Email: *[email protected] <@idexcel.com>* | *www.idexcel.com <http://www.idexcel.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
