Responsibilities:
- The BizTalk Developer will be responsible for the application
development on the BizTalk platform
- Be the development lead for end to end project delivery (Senior
BizTalk Developer).
- Responsible for assessing the Business requirements, understand the
current system design/architecture/functionality to a very detailed level
and come up with best possible technical approach to meet the requirements.
- Develop BizTalk orchestrations & itineraries
- Develop other BizTalk artifacts as necessary (custom pipeline
components, custom functoids, helper classes)
- Configure BizTalk bindings
- Selectively expose BizTalk components as REST or WS-* services
- Assist in implementing BizTalk deployment framework, build and
release management
- Assist in performance/load testing
- Assist in configuring BAM
Qualifications:
- 10+ years (for Senior Developer) and 5+ years (for Junior Developer)
of work experience is systems and application development
- Demonstrated solid experience with BizTalk technology stack and EDI
(EDIFACT, X12, ebXML,AS2)
- Strong programming skills with BizTalk server. In depth knowledge of
BizTalk orchestration, Rules
- Engine, Mapping, XML schema design and proficiency in creating
pipeline components.
- Good understanding of Microsoft suggested best practices for BizTalk.
Able to apply BizTalk design patterns
- BizTalk 2010 to 2012/2013 R2 migration experience is a plus.
- Exposure to any virtualization and/or cloud computing technologies
(PaaS, IaaS, VPC) is highly desirable (e.g. VMWare, Amazon AWS or Microsoft
Azure)
- Experience supporting application development projects through
requirements gathering, design
- and development, quality management, training and delivery
installation.
- · Demonstrated knowledge and competence of Agile development
methodology
- · Experience with a variety of programming languages including .net,
Web Services, IIS, HTML, XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP
- Understanding of Microsoft.Net Framework
- Experience in designing/developing solutions for a Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA)
- Understanding of relational database objects like functions, view,
stored procedures using SQL Server
- Knowledge of development tools within multiple complex operating
environments including respective enterprise analysis tools.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally and negotiate with key
stakeholders.
- Ability to lead several initiatives with oversight at a program level.
- Adept at technical analysis related to medium to large scale
initiatives.
- Application or domain leadership and advisory capability.
- Architect level of technical design and implementation of technical
solutions
