System Analyst
This position requires SYSTEM ANALYSTS NOT BUSINESS ANALYSTS.!!\
Job Description:
· A systems analyst designs new technical solutions to improve
business efficiency and productivity. The work might be for an external
client or an internal client (such as a department within the same
organization).
· Working closely with the client, the analysts examine business
requirements to produce a detailed technical design for an appropriate
improved IT solution. They act as the liaison between the client and the
developers.
· System Analyst produces outline designs and costing of new
systems, specifying the operations the system will perform, and the way
data will be viewed by the end-user, present their design to the client
and, once it is approved, work closely with the client team to implement
the solution.
Requirements
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of FACETS System Analysis and Systems and/or
Configuration experience.
o In depth- understanding of FACETS Enrollment and Eligibility modules
and system architecture.
· 5+ years of experience working in the different phases of
development.
· 5 + years of healthcare insurance industry experiences, with
knowledge of government run programs.
· Understanding of reimbursement methodologies and policies.
· Knowledge of government programs coding and billing compliance
rules.
· 5+ years of Relational Database experience.
· 5+ years of writing system requirements.
· Understanding of data gathering/analysis
· Knowledge of the Software(System) Development Life Cycle
· Experience working with test plans and test cases
· Experience facilitating *Joint Application Development (JAD*)
sessions
· Experience translating business requirements into detail
technical solutions project briefs.
· Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for
both technical and business suitability and feasibility.
· Produce specific proposals for modified or replacement systems.-
Present proposals for solutions to clients.
· Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure
technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
MUST HAVE:
- 4+ year of experience in Trizetto Facets system analysis or development.
- 5+ years experience in EDI Eligibility (HIPAA 834, 270, 271) etc.
- 5+ years experience in FACETS Eligibility/Enrollment transactions, data
model and structure.
- Proficiency in producing solutions for member/eligibility input and
output feeds.
- Proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database
management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving,
organizational, and analytical skills required.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures.
- Ability to write SQL without assistance
