We are searching for a Systems Analyst for our healthcare client with
offices in Waltham, MA. This is not a Business Analyst role.
Candidates must have knowledge and *experience with data model and
relational databases*. You will be speaking with both business and
technology so you NEED to have some technical skills *and have Claims
health care* experience. Having *Rally knowledge* would be a huge plus.
*THE PROJECT:*
Cirrus is Health Plan in a Box offering end-to-end platform, designed to
perform all core health plan administrative functions.
Entities: Carriers, Networks, Providers, Member Groups, Members
Entity Relationships: Provider Contract, Network Contract, Member Group
Contract, Provider Affiliation to Network, Member Affiliation to Member
Group
Configuration Modules: Plan Design, Spending Account Design, Pricing
Configuration, Capitation Configuration, Premium Billing Configuration
Business Events: *Claim Adjudication, Claim Pricing, Premium Billing,
Capitation Processing, Member Enrollment Processing.*
Adjudication and other business functions/events perform a direct read of
configuration rules in Cirrus
Cirrus offers multiple Product Support to Medical, dental, vision,
pharmacy, specialty carve-out plans. Aggregated multi-product plans (e.g.
combined medical and dental).
HMO/Gated, PPO, EPO, indemnity and multiple tier plans. Supports an
unlimited number of coverage tiers and network associations within a single
plan. Complex benefit leveling components within each coverage tier.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
· Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed
functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
· Work closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to
ensure requirements and design are completely understood
· Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the
organization
· Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts,
Developers and project management groups
· Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate
conflict resolution
· Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that
support long term business objectives
· Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with
measurable results
· Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with
system deliveries and business processes
· Lead and mentor other Systems Analysts
*Required Qualifications:*
· 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Development
· *5+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC) /System Development Life Cycle*
· 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into a
detailed system specification
· 5+ years of experience mapping data from web services or database
to user interface
· Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, *Visio*, PowerPoint
· 5+ years *of Relational Database *experience
*Preferred Qualifications:*
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
· Health Care Company work experience
· Healthcare experience
· Experience working with test plans and test cases
· Experience facilitating * Joint Application Design (JAD)* sessions
· Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with
Agile methodology
