*Duration: Immediate Thru December 2010 (likely to extend!) 6 + months* *Location: Bellevue, WA location* ** *Technical Project/Delivery Manager III – Supply Chain/Telecom* ** Responsible for the successful completion of projects from design complete/development intake through build, code drop and hand-off to test. Works closely with Business Solutions stakeholders and executives in order to successfully oversee the build activities for the project and ensure expected cost and schedule. Communicates build project status, escalates development risks, develops mitigation plans. Delivery Principal works closely with developers, development managers, Business Solutions teams, project managers and project leadership. - Coordinates through the development managers all delivery activities and acts as the escalation point for all development issues specific to projects. - Ensures that the project is staffed adequately and the development team is prepared. - Collaborate within Enterprise Systems project team to validate quality documentation is being presented to development team. - Produces timely and accurate project status reports to Business Solutions team. - Ensure complete understanding of the development estimate and project scope – lead development team to deliver project within the framework of the given estimate and assumptions. - Acts as the escalation path through the ES Delivery and Development organization on project build issues. - Participates, as required, in steering committee meetings. - Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon completion (handoff) and close all project documentation and archive appropriate records. *Required Skills:* - MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) - Sound understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Discipline (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Procurement) - Sound understanding of software development project lifecycle - Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments with little direction - Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables - 4-6 years experience in project management or delivery management with proven history of successful project management within the telecommunications industry and/or supply chain space. - Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering software development projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change - Must have a solid understanding of the PMI / PMBOK Methodology.
