They will need to be on-site for the first 3-4 weeks (Monday-Thursday), and then can do remote work from wherever they live after that. Streams is definitely the key for this one, as well as ASM, RAC, DataGuard, Partitioning, and AIX/Sun exp. Apps dba exp is a plus The client is looking for a Oracle DBA with very strong Streams (10g & 11g) experience – They have a current Streams implementation that is unstable… The client environment involves: a) Multi-node RAC (one has 5 and another has 3 nodes) b) Dataguard c) Partitioning d) ASM e) Very high amount of redo (several hundreds of GB daily) f) SUN and AIX RAC RAC, Partitioning, Dataguard skills are a must, and this person must be also solid in these, along with Streams since all the Streams issues are tightly connected with these technologies as well.
