Sr. Software Engineer – Distributed SaaS, Linux MUST HAVE GOOD WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION. Location: san Jose, California Duration: 6-12 months Major Responsibilities Be responsible for key back end components of the platform Develop vital workflow management functions of the Cloud Migration SaaS Management platform. Develop REST APIs, as well as contribute to the overall API framework Implement solution using iterative processes, Agile development methodologies and test-driven development. Implement services that are highly available, fault tolerant, using cutting edge technological concepts such as NoSQL db’s and distributed messaging frameworks. Troubleshooting Linux migration scenarios Required skills 2+ years developing SaaS or IaaS cloud platform software for virtualization, provisioning, backup, cloning, network storage, or similar server technology. In depth knowledge of Linux system internals including boot, network and storage subsystems.
