Job Description: SAP MM Functional Consultant
· This position will be assigned to a key project to support the
development of an Inventory Management Interface between SAP and an external
vendor's system.
· The interface will move material master data from the vendor's system
to SAP for inventory materials.
· The position requires a candidate with strong technical and
analytical skills as well strong business skills.
It requires somebody who has previous experience in the following areas:
o Material Master Configuration,
o Procurement Configuration.
o strong knowledge SAP Material Management including IM and PR.
o solid understanding of the SAP tables as related to SAP MM.
o proficient Inventory Management in IM Business Process within an SAP
Environment.
Candidate must have the following experience:
v At least 3-5 demonstrated SAP Full Live Cycle project implementations in
Inventory Management with an emphasis in configuration including procurement of
Material Master data in SAP.
v Candidate must have 3-5 years experience and strong IM configuration skills
and proficient at documentation.
v Good communication and presentations skill a must.
Duties:
Ø Develop configuration of SAP MM (IM) and some portion of Procurement (PR);
Ø Recommend modifications and enhancements to the system design and interface
development..
Ø Develop reports to confirm conversion and or identify data discrepancies.
Ø Beta test configuration and integration testing for technical issues related
to data and process integrity,.
Ø Identify discrepancies in data across multiple systems under testing phase
and recommend changes.
Ø Develop timelines for development, testing, and implementation of new
configuration and interface.
Ø Use the Mercury QTP for document and testing of the configuration..
Ø Develop and maintain technical documents related to interface.
Ø Create and maintain user manuals and related documentation configuration..
Ø Conduct training sessions for LACCD personnel on the configuration design
and development.
Ø Collaborate with senior management regarding status of development and
report and issue and as appropriate.
