Niraj, allow me to be more clear.  The method by wich you have chosen to bring attention to events in Bengladesh reveal a discriminatory intent on your part.  You could have chosen to inform the group and request action.  Instead the information was accompanied by a criticism of the group in asking why SAPAC is concerned about the welfare of Muslims and not Hindus.  This reveals a sense of being wronged, not because an injustice is occurring to Hindus but rather because the group is paying attention to an injustice occurring to Muslims.  In sum, you question the integrity of the group for giving importance to atrocities against Muslims instead of Hindus.  This either/or approach is indicitive of a discriminatory intent.  You could have assumed that this group is interested in addressing inequities and injustice wherever they occur, as they probably are, instead you chose to make a division between Hindus and Muslims.

Having said that, my e-mail gave a brief account of the situation of Hindus in the Middle East b/c you're statement addressed Muslim countries and was not limited to the Indian sub-continent.  This was not to detract from the importance of injustices against Hindus, but rather to inform you of the realities of religious relations in Muslim countries.  This does not detract from the importance of religious violence in Bengaladesh, but rather was aimed at the broad and general scope of your statement.

      Hope this helps.
