DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: AUGUST 15, 2004

Filmmakers are invited to submit their films (Feature/ Short/ Doc) for the fourth annual IAAC FILM FESTIVAL: THE INDIAN DIASPORA, November 4-7, 2004. IAAC Film Festival : The Indian Diaspora includes films made by people of Indian origin living outside India. Films made by non-Indians with Indian content (plot, theme, actors, location, protagonist) will also be considered.

PERTINENT INFORMATION ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

  • The Opening Night Gala is on November 4, 2004 at the Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Center, followed by the Gala
    dinner at the Kaplan Penthouse, Lincoln Center.
  • At the ceremony The IAAC will honour Salman Rushdie, Shabana Azmi, Ismail Merchant and Mira Nair for their continued
    generous support of the IAAC. All honorees have confirmed their presence.
  • Meet the media, film distributors and festival scouts at the screenings. Attend post-screening discussions and Q&A with
    the filmmakers (and all cast/crew present).
  • Filmmaker awards (cash and in-kind) for outstanding creativity will be presented immediately after the closing film.
