REQUIRED SKILLS
The developers doing this conversion will need excellent mainframe Cobol
skills, with experience using DB2. IMS data base skills would be a plus.
It is desirable that at least one of the developers will be familiar with
Telon/IMS and Telon/DB2, since almost all of the Cobol programs involved
currently use Telon. They should also be able to convert the IMS utilities
to the appropriate DB2 utilities, or to advise Data Support on these
issues.
