Position: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Cloud Consulting Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6-12 Months Rate: Open (DOE) Responsibilities: * Attaining annual Sales ($1MM), Revenue ($2.5MM), and Billable Utilization (75%) goals * Working with Technology Architecture leaders to drive business development activity for client accounts and within target accounts . Engage Industry Sector leaders and domain experts in the pursuit of new opportunities . Engage Industry Sector leaders in development and execution of account plans and penetration strategies * Providing thought leadership within Cloud Consulting across all industries * Becoming a subject matter expert in multiple Cloud Consulting solution offerings, as well as assist with managing development of new solution offerings * Thorough understanding of Technology Architecture delivery methodologies and have the ability to speak to client personnel about them * Leading the execution and delivery of consulting projects . Leverage up to 5 delivery resources on a project engagement . Execute robust project management methodologies that provide best in class delivery and a scalable platform . Manage the project work plan and hold the team leads and project resources accountable to variances in budget and hours . Understand scope management and risk mitigation techniques and how to apply them to the project . Have a thorough understanding of work effort estimation, letters of agreement, master service agreements, staffing model, average bill rates and cost structure by level . Ensure timely and quality delivery for engagements you are managing . Work with Staffing Coordinator to ensure the proper staffing for your project(s) . Make sure invoices are delivered to the client and paid in a timely fashion * Building and managing relationships with client leads for the projects you are managing Qualifications: Educational Requirements: * Bachelor's degree (Business or Technical) at an accredited university * Master's degree preferred (MBA) Qualifications: * Typically 8 year total experience with 6+ years of experience in a consulting firm * Possess a strong and very established track record in delivering engagements of 0 - 2 years and up to $2 million in contract value * Demonstrate ability to develop a client relationship within your current client and extend that relationship into other areas * Possess a strong track record in developing Cloud Consulting solutions * Demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly with highly diverse teams * Minimum 5 years experience in the Technology Architecture domain * Minimum 5 years direct consulting experience * Minimum 5 years management experience Specific Cloud Consulting Skills: . Must have strong proven skills in one or more of the Cloud Consulting Services * Virtual Infrastructure Design and Implementation * Virtual Desktop Strategy and Design * Virtualization Performance Optimization * Virtual and Cloud Infrastructure Operations * Cloud Roadmap and Technology Selection * Cloud Design and Architecture * Cloud Migration Planning * Cloud Security Other Skills: * Proven track record of building relationships with client management * Demonstrated success managing teams in a consulting environment * Demonstrated team development skills * Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills * Advanced communications skills both written and verbal * Excellent decision making and problem solving skills * Demonstrated mastery of consulting at the senior management level * Exceptional organizational and communications capabilities Thanks, Archana Kulkarni (Archie) MetaSense, Inc.
