Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Long Island City, NY
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $60/hr
*Job Description*: The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting IT
projects and programs.
*Required Skills:*
- 8-10 years of work or project experience
- PMP certified and continues to maintain certification
- 3 years + experience of supporting large complex programs
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to senior managers in a clear and
concise manner
- Ability to produce clear, concise reporting
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working with Project Portfolio Management tools
- Comprehensive to expert knowledge with technology concepts and System
Development Life Cycle methodologies (i.e.: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile,
etc.)
- Experience work with office automation tools (MS Office suite of
applications, email, Internet, etc.)
- Experience with working with offshore teams and/or vendors
