Job Description for TeraData:

1.Candidates should have minimum 7 years work experience in managing and
administrating large databases.
2.Should also have a solid knowledge of data warehouse architecture,
dimension modeling, and metadata management.The DBA must have an in depth
knowledge of the Teradata database architecture and be proficient in
managing Operational Data Stores, normalized data structures as well as
star schema designs.
3.Monitor Teradata Environment
Provide recommendation for improvement.
Capacity planning & Compression Analysis
4.Experience with Teradata Utilities:
Viewpoint (or PMON, TD Manager)
FastLoad, FastExport, and MultiLoad
Experience with Teradata Backup and Recovery (BAR)
Experience with Administrative Tasks:
Setting up roles and profiles
Managing space
Managing security
TASM
5. Teradata Performance Tuning Experience
6. Manages The Teradata Database Servers, Database Processes, Change
Management, Backup, Archive & Recovery (Bar) Processes.
7. Assists With Computing Architecture, Planning, Design, Development,
Testing, Deployment, And Modification
8. Monitors, Controls And Reports Service Levels For Database Resources
9. Responsible For Server Reliability And Capacity Planning Works With The
Business And Application Development Teams To Ensure The Database
Infrastructure Meets/Exceeds Business Expectations
10.Participates In The Implementation And Enhancement Internal Support

11.Work With A Team Of Application Developers/Analysts To Support Them On

*Job Description:*
- Hands-on experience with webmethods 7.x, 8.x server installation,
configuration, upgrade.
- Experience with webmethods version 8.2 highly desirable.
- Extensive experience required on Business Process Management (BPM) and
Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) using webmethods.
- Must have very good working knowledge on various webmethods components
(e.g. IS, MWS, Optimize, Broker, BAM, Database Components, and Adapters).
