Although it might already be a bit late for a reply, I just found
out that the database I currently use, does not switch on autosave
either, when the appropriate service SAPDB: <dbname> (=> WNT 4)
is stopped and started again (manual startup).

Autosave is correctly switched on, when I shutted down the database
instance and started it up again using the DBM. It is even switched
on, when autosave has not been started during service start.

I could not find any specific errors or messages in the knldiag or
knldiag.err pointing to problems concerning autosave on.

Any hints how to convince SAPDB to start with autosave on?
(Kernel 7.3.0 Build 018-000-081-115')
